By the end of the course, they will be equipped with the tools to excel in academic, professional, and personal settings, making a lasting impact on their futures.

Contributing To An Inclusive Canada

Our project contributes to an inclusive Canada by empowering young BIPOC individuals to find and use their voices confidently. In our diverse country, everyone should feel heard and valued, but many young people struggle with the fear of public speaking and lack the tools to communicate effectively. This can hold them back in school, work, and life.

Through this project, we’re not just teaching public speaking; we’re giving these young people the confidence to share their stories, express their ideas, and connect with others. Storytelling is a powerful way to build bridges between different communities and foster understanding. By helping these young individuals master the art of storytelling, we’re helping them contribute to a more inclusive Canada where everyone’s voice matters.

This aligns with the grant’s goal of fostering inclusion and diversity by equipping BIPOC youth with essential skills that can help them succeed in all areas of life. When these young people can speak up, share their experiences, and lead with confidence, they become active participants in building a more inclusive and connected society.
