Participants will engage in peer support groups, creative art activities, and team-building exercises. Contributing To An Inclusive Canada

The “Thriving Minds: Back-to-School Wellness Initiative” contributes to an inclusive Canada by directly addressing the needs of BIPOC youth, a group often underrepresented in mental health and wellness programs. The project aligns with the grant’s focus on diversity and inclusion by:

Promoting Diversity: By specifically targeting BIPOC youth, the initiative fosters an environment where diverse cultural backgrounds are acknowledged and celebrated, ensuring that these communities have access to tailored support and resources.

Enhancing Inclusivity: The program’s holistic approach to wellness—encompassing mental health, physical health, and peer support—creates inclusive spaces where all participants feel valued and supported, regardless of their background.

Building Community: Fosters connections and mutual support among youth from diverse backgrounds, contributing to a stronger, more inclusive community fabric.

Overall, the initiative supports the creation of a more inclusive and equitable society by addressing the unique needs of BIPOC youth and promoting a culture of understanding and mutual support.
