Project Summary:

The pilot run of our Sowing Seeds Sessions week during the 2024 RoseBowl Festival saw over 36 participants across 4 days of workshops within Brampton thanks to the support of the city.

The Spades Family hosts ‘Sowing Seeds Sessions,’ workshops for early-career artists to learn, collaborate, and grow in Brampton’s arts scene.

Contributing To An Inclusive Canada

the program contributes to an Inclusive Canada as our workshops and programming are geared particularly toward BIPOC Canadian creatives. With so many cultural communities and so many different walks of life, art, and music connect many without concern for one’s own background. That being said, we look to amplify the accessibility and the sense of community through the arts by providing resources and information from active professionals in the industry to lessen the barrier for entry that may exist for some Canadian creatives and not others, thus cultivating a community in itself.
