Contributing To An Inclusive Canada
“Summer Wellness Series: Introduction to Meditation,” aligns closely with the goals of promoting inclusivity and empowerment within Canada, as outlined by the grant criteria and Frontlines’ mission. By offering free sessions in local parks and wellness spaces, my project aims to reach underserved youth and BIPOC individuals, providing them with accessible tools for mental health and well-being. The program is designed to be inclusive, welcoming all participants regardless of background or experience level, and it incorporates trauma-informed practices to ensure a supportive environment. By empowering participants with mindfulness and meditation techniques, my project fosters resilience, reduces stress, and promotes emotional well-being. Through these efforts, I seek to contribute to an inclusive Canada by amplifying the voices of marginalized communities, celebrating diversity, and providing equitable access to holistic wellness practices that empower individuals to thrive.
