Mini Millionaire Marketplace

Hosted By: Taejah D.

Program For Ages: 6 to 18 Years Old.

The Mini Millionaires Marketplace project empowers youth aged 6-18 with entrepreneurial skills, promoting financial literacy and AI literacy. Over four weeks, participants will engage in workshops on business planning, product development, marketing, and financial literacy. They will create their own products and showcase them at a community marketplace event. This project fosters confidence, leadership, and economic opportunities by providing real-world experience in entrepreneurship. By targeting BIPOC youth, it also promotes inclusivity and diversity, helping young people build valuable skills and positive connections within their community. The marketplace event culminates their learning, celebrating their achievements and fostering community support.

Addressing Community Needs

The project addresses the need for youth empowerment, particularly among BIPOC and marginalized communities. It provides opportunities for skill development, entrepreneurship, and leadership, fostering a sense of achievement and community engagement. The project also promotes financial and AI literacy, addressing gaps in traditional education and preparing youth for future economic participation.
