“I’na suit you” is a historical research and theatre-making project. Through weekly workshops and history lessons, the project will enable the research into the origins, development, assimilation and appropriation of Jamaican Patois as a language and the making of a performance around the research.

We’re kicking off with …. The Jamaican National Language Supplementary School

For the March break, we are hosting Jamaican National Language Lessons, Jamaican-Canadian History Lessons and Creative workshops.

March 11 – 15, 2024 from 10am to 5:30pm

If you’re 11 – 17 and of Caribbean heritage in Toronto then sign up!
