Contributing To An Inclusive Canada
We are building a more inclusive and diverse Canada by providing marginalized youth with access to mentorship and professional development opportunities. This initiative ensures that underrepresented voices are heard, valued, and supported, helping to bridge the gap between communities and the broader Canadian society.
For the participants, this project offers not just guidance but a transformative experience. Through mentorship and skill-building sessions, they gain the confidence, knowledge, and networks needed to pursue their career goals. This empowerment equips them to overcome challenges and take proactive steps toward a successful future.
The broader community benefits as these empowered youth bring back their skills, experiences, and confidence, fostering a culture of inclusion, diversity, and mutual respect. By investing in these young individuals’ potential, we are contributing to a stronger, more cohesive community where everyone can thrive.

In December, we hosted a youth engagement activity that gathered more than 50 newcomer youth. During the session, participants discussed strategies for navigating Canadian society and creating a platform for open dialogue and empowerment. These conversations allowed youth to share their experiences, foster connections, and build the confidence needed to adapt successfully to their new environment.
We facilitated an exciting group outing to a Canada vs. Suriname soccer game, offering over 13 youths the chance to engage in a fun, social activity. This event not only fostered enjoyment but also strengthened the participants’ sense of community and belonging.
