Project Summary:

The Caribbean Storytelling Event is a one-night celebration on August 24th, 2024, designed to preserve and promote Caribbean culture in Canada. Featuring Caribbean performers, a youth dance squad, and interactive storytelling, the event aims to bridge generational gaps and instill important values in young attendees. With giveaways, food, and non-alcoholic drinks, this vibrant gathering will create a space for cultural exchange, fostering community ties and mutual understanding. By addressing the decline of Caribbean culture in Canada, this event seeks to inspire pride in heritage, reduce community violence, and contribute to a more inclusive society.
