Project Summary:

The Love of Coils is empowering children with coily, kinky, and afro hair through education. Niya’s Coily World is teaching the fundamentals of hair care in a fun way.

Addressing Community Needs:

Hair care discrimination which impacts the social determinants of health. It is bringing awareness to black hair diversity and inclusivity. It is teaching self love, and hands-on skills. It includes collaboration with other small black businesses, thereby supporting the BIPOC ecosystem.
