We are pleased to share that welaunched a FREEmonthlyPeerSupportGroup starting Thursday, April 7th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. It took place virtually through Zoom. Please find the poster attached to this email.
This group is open to women and gender-diverse community members across Ontario who identify as living with disabilities, experiencing mental health challenges, social isolation, interpersonal violence, or marginalization and barriers in their day-to-day life and would like to connect with others who share similar experiences. The group is designed to provide support through peer-driven discussion and foster healing discussions with one another.
Please join us on our 2nd session on Thursday, May 5th, 2022. Kindly note that a consent form will be sent to you to review, fill out, and email back to Lindsay before the first session. We are happy to assist with the form should you need assistance. Once you receive your initial registration email requesting group connection details to the informal group, a “drop-in” Zoom link will be sent to you. You are welcome to join any future “drop-in” groups without re-registering. To help us keep our services safe, comfortable, and confidential spaces for everyone, we kindly ask those who visit to review our Code of Conduct before joining a group.
