FoodShare is hiring for a Food RX Project Facilitator.
FoodShare is currently partnering with the University Health Network to conduct a ‘Food Rx’ research project investigating the impacts of increased access to fresh produce and regular wellness check-ins on social isolation and personal wellbeing. The Food RX Facilitator will be responsible for supporting the Food RX Coordinator to stay in regular contact with all project participants by conducting regular surveys and check-ins over the phone. It is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) 5 month contract, from September 2021 to February 2022.
Salary: $52,981 Annually (prorated to length of contract)
Benefits: Benefits reimbursement up to $1,000/year (prorated to length of contract), $3/day lunch allowance, monthly cell phone and internet reimbursement available, vacation pay accrual at 8% of bi-weekly pay, 10 paid personal emergency leave (sick) days per year (prorated to length of contract).
