Applications are open for the Student and Family Advocates Initiative!
The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services is now accepting applications for the Student and Family Advocates (SFA) Initiative. The SFA Initiative will deliver highly-targeted, community-based, and culturally-relevant advocacy supports tailored to the experiences and needs of Black students and families in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, Ottawa and Windsor.
Student and Family Advocates (SFAs) will help Black students and families connect to supports, services and opportunities to help them achieve their educational, life, and career goals. SFAs will work out of community-based organizations with relevant subject matter expertise and demonstrated capacity to serve Black children, youth and families in their local community.
Coalitions and partnerships are eligible to apply.
If you have any questions about the application template, criteria, process, etc. please email them to email@example.com.
Applications must be submitted by October 29, 2020. For more information on how to apply, please review the Application Package.
